This Privacy Policy explains how CatPaw Jackaroo جاكارو ("CatPaw Jackaroo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related game services. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
- Account information: a user ID, login provider, nickname, profile image, language, and, when provided by a sign-in provider, an email address or display name.
- Game and service data: game progress, match activity, rankings, virtual items, coin balance, rewards, mail, settings, and other actions needed to operate the game.
- Purchase information: product identifiers, transaction identifiers, receipts, purchase status, and refund information. Apple and Google process your payment details; we do not receive your full card or bank account number.
- Content you provide: profile images you choose to upload and messages you submit through feedback or reporting features.
- Technical information: device and app information, IP address, network and request data, diagnostics, security logs, and locally generated identifiers used for guest access, authentication, preferences, and fraud prevention.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the app, create and authenticate accounts, run matches and leaderboards, save progress and preferences, deliver virtual items and purchases, respond to feedback, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use personal information for third-party advertising or sell it to data brokers. Analytics collection is disabled in the current app build. If we enable optional analytics or advertising features in the future, we will update this policy and request any consent required by applicable law or your device platform.
Device permissions
The app may ask for access to your photo library or files when you choose a profile image or save or share media, and for notification permission when notifications are available. These permissions are optional unless needed for the feature you select. You can review or withdraw them in your device settings.
Third-party services
We use service providers to operate specific features. These may include Google and Firebase for sign-in and app infrastructure, Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases, Google Play for Android purchases, and Tencent Cloud Object Storage for user-selected image hosting. These providers process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
Our app may also open links or sharing tools provided by your device or other apps. Information you choose to send through those services is governed by the recipient service's privacy policy.
Storage, security, and retention
Some preferences, session information, and cached content are stored on your device. Account, gameplay, transaction, uploaded-content, and service records may be stored on our servers or those of our service providers.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect users, resolve disputes, maintain transaction and anti-fraud records, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by data type and applicable law.
Your choices and rights
You may update your nickname or profile image in the app, control device permissions in system settings, or stop further collection by uninstalling the app. You can delete your account from the account page in the app. Account deletion is permanent and removes or de-identifies associated personal data, except information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction-record requirements.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. To make a request, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without any consent required by law, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to investigate and delete it.
