Matches & Coins
What are Coins, and what can I use them for?
Coins are Jackaroo's in-game currency. You use them to enter matches and unlock board skins. You can earn Coins from gameplay rewards or purchase Coin packs in the store.
Coins have no cash value. They cannot be transferred, traded, withdrawn or exchanged for money or real-world rewards.
How much does a public match cost?
| Table | Match cost | Base XP — win | Base XP — loss |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beginner | 500 Coins | 15 XP | 5 XP |
| Standard | 1,000 Coins | 30 XP | 10 XP |
| Expert | 2,000 Coins | 60 XP | 20 XP |
| Master | 3,000 Coins | 90 XP | 30 XP |
The Match Cost is charged when matchmaking succeeds and the match starts. If matchmaking fails, you are not charged. If a server issue closes the match before completion, the system can return the Match Cost.
How is the match-completion reward calculated?
The game system uses a published formula based on the Match Costs at the table. It removes 10% from the game economy, then divides the remaining amount equally between the winning seats.
reward per winning seat = (total Match Costs × 90%) ÷ winning seats| Match cost | Reward per winning seat* |
|---|---|
| 500 Coins | 900 Coins |
| 1,000 Coins | 1,800 Coins |
| 2,000 Coins | 3,600 Coins |
| 3,000 Coins | 5,400 Coins |
*Applies to a 1v1 winner or each member of a winning two-player team. The reward is determined by the match result and player performance. Whole-Coin rounding may add a small remainder to the game-economy deduction.
Is there a public-match completion bonus?
Yes. An eligible human player on the winning side of a public match receives a 20-Coin result-screen bonus. It must be claimed within 30 seconds. Private matches, bots and players who forfeited are not eligible.
What happens if I leave or stay disconnected?
Leaving after a match starts—or remaining disconnected until the forfeit timeout—means:
- your Match Cost is not returned;
- you receive no match-completion reward and no base match XP;
- you lose 25 RP in a public match; and
- the match does not count as valid progress for the forfeiting player.
How do private-table Match Costs work?
The host can choose a Match Cost from 500 to 10,000 Coins. The default is 1,000 Coins. If no amount is supplied—or it is outside the allowed range—the server uses the default.
Private tables use the same 10% game-economy deduction and Match-Cost-based XP rules as public tables.
XP, Levels & Rank
How much XP do I earn from a match?
Base XP follows the Match Cost:
- Win: 3% of the Match Cost
- Loss: 1% of the Match Cost
- Forfeit: 0 XP
- Each marble entering safety: +1% of the Match Cost
- Each enemy marble captured: +1% of the Match Cost
Capturing multiple marbles in one action applies a bonus multiplier: ×1.25 for 2, ×1.5 for 3, and ×2 for 4.
XP is rounded to whole points. Action XP is added to the base win or loss XP.
How much XP is needed for the next level?
The requirement grows with your current level:
XP to next level = current level × 150Examples: Lv.1 → 2 needs 150 XP; Lv.2 → 3 needs 300 XP; Lv.5 → 6 needs 750 XP; Lv.10 → 11 needs 1,500 XP.
Levels never decrease, and extra XP carries over.
What do I receive when I level up?
Every level gained awards 500 Coins. Reaching a multiple of 5—Lv.5, 10, 15 and so on—adds a 1,000-Coin milestone bonus, for 1,500 Coins total on that level.
How does RP change after a public match?
RP cannot fall below 0. RP and rank are separate from XP and level, so a loss never removes XP or levels.
What are the rank thresholds?
Your current rank rises or falls with RP. Your highest-ever rank is recorded separately and never decreases. Rank does not restrict the public table you can enter.
Tasks, Login & Gameplay Rewards
What do I receive when I create a new account?
A new account receives a 2,000-Coin welcome reward. This is separate from daily login and task rewards.
Which Daily Tasks award Coins?
| Daily task | Reward |
|---|---|
| Log in | 500 Coins |
| Complete the first valid match | 200 Coins |
| Win the first valid match | 300 Coins |
| Complete 3 valid matches | 300 Coins |
That is up to 1,300 Coins per day from task claims.
Coin rewards must be claimed from the Task Center. Forfeited matches do not count.
What are the New Player Tasks?
- Complete a public 1v1 match: 500 Coins
- Complete a public 4-player match: 500 Coins
- Win a public match: 500 Coins
- Complete all three: Lavender Garden board skin
These tasks can be completed once per account and do not reset.
Leaderboards
How do Weekly and Monthly Leaderboards work?
Public matches add the same RP change to the active Weekly and Monthly Leaderboards: +20 for a win, −8 for a loss and −25 for a forfeit. You need at least 1 valid match to appear.
Leaderboard RP resets at the start of each UTC period. Your overall RP, level and current rank are not reset.
What are the leaderboard Coin rewards?
| Place | Weekly reward | Monthly reward |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 1,000 Coins | 5,000 Coins |
| 2nd | 600 Coins | 3,000 Coins |
| 3rd | 300 Coins | 1,500 Coins |
| 4th–10th | 100 Coins | 500 Coins |
How are ties decided?
Players are ranked by:
- higher leaderboard RP;
- the player who reached that RP total earlier; then
- a stable account-ID order if both values are identical.
Board Skins & Fair Play
How much do board skins cost?
| Board skin rarity | Reference price |
|---|---|
| Common | 1,000 Coins |
| Rare | 2,500 Coins |
| Premium | 5,500 Coins |
| Limited | 10,500 Coins |
Individual store items may use a specific price. The price shown in the in-game store at purchase time is authoritative.
Do board skins affect gameplay?
No. Board skins only change the appearance of the game board. They do not improve abilities, change rules, increase rewards or affect match results.
Owned board skins stay linked to the account. They cannot be sold, traded or converted back into Coins.
How does the game protect fair play?
Jackaroo is a skill-based board game. Match results come from player decisions and the published game rules. Coins, XP, RP, task progress and match settlement are calculated by the game system. Cheating, exploiting bugs, manipulating results or other abnormal behavior may cause affected matches, rewards or leaderboard results to be invalidated.
